Weir Minerals has upgraded its Trio® TC movable shaft cone crusher series. Trio® TC84XR has all the sturdy design elements that have made the movable shaft crusher a fixed device for the mining, sand and aggregate industries for generations, while also incorporating the latest technology to ensure that it will remain for a long time in the future. It is an integral part of the process.

The power shaft design of the Trio TC cone crusher has been proven suitable for heavy secondary and tertiary crushing applications. We want to build on this strong foundation. My team followed a comprehensive design process-we have reviewed and tested every inch of this crusher. Although the TC84XR looks familiar from the outside, we have upgraded its design and control functions. Compared with crushers of the same size, this motor is larger and has higher crushing capacity," said Mark Utecht, Weir Minerals' Director of Crushing Engineering.

"The result: We now have a very robust, powerful and technologically advanced crusher that is easy to operate, has low wear rates and lower energy consumption, ultimately reducing operating costs," he said.

Although many original equipment manufacturers have decided to stop their active shaft cone crushers, Weir Minerals has resisted this trend, and they believe-because every mining, sand and aggregate operation is different-there cannot be one The almighty method.

Instead, Weir Minerals works with its customers to enable them to choose the machine that best suits their crushing needs.

In certain applications and situations, a pedestal (fixed shaft) crusher may be a more suitable solution, which is why Weir Minerals continues to manufacture high-quality Trio® TP pedestal machines.

Weir Minerals is the only global equipment manufacturer that provides both TC movable shaft and TP fixed shaft machines.

"The combination of Trio TP and TC fixed shaft and movable shaft cone crushers ensures that Weir Minerals continues to provide their customers with the right technology, regardless of their site structure, operating conditions or application," Mark Utecht Engineering, Weir Minerals Director of Crushing Say.

Trio® moving and fixed axis cone crushers adopt advanced hydraulic systems, wear-resistant materials and the latest technology, and are specially manufactured for modern mines and quarries.

'This is really exciting for our customers because they now have real choices. The combination of our TC and TP series allows us to have candid conversations with our customers about the options available to them and make technical recommendations that truly meet their needs," said Ekkhart Matthies, Weir Minerals' Global Application Director.

Replacing an existing movable shaft machine with a Trio® TC84XR crusher in the field is now a simple process because its dimensions are very similar and the weight is similar to its predecessor movable shaft. And because it produces the same product, no downstream changes are required, which is not the case when a fixed-axis machine is replaced with a movable-axis machine.

In other words, there is no need to redesign the existing circuit.

The recent technological upgrade of the Trio® TC84XR crusher has improved its safety, functionality and reliability.

'At Weir Minerals, we understand and appreciate the important role that live shaft cone crushers play in today's challenging crushing applications. Combining decades of experience and first-hand customer feedback with innovative design, the highest quality materials and the latest control technology, we believe that our new Trio TC84XR cone crusher is the most reliable and robust shaft on the market today Cone crusher Ekkhart Matthies, Director of Weir Mining Global Applications said.

The Trio® TC84XR crusher is designed to operate in the most extreme applications, rugged and easy to maintain and operate. It reliably provides high crushing power and high horsepower in primary, crushed ore and quarry applications.

The ability of the TC84XR crusher to handle variable feed and crushing pebbles is also partly due to its large motor; it is designed to have a higher power capacity than similar cone crushers. Ultimately, this translates into a higher potential for crushing power, thereby increasing production.

Another feature that enables it to handle variable feeds and safely dispose of miscellaneous materials is a fully automatic miscellaneous material release and recovery system. If the plant's power is suddenly interrupted and the cone crusher stops, the debris release hydraulic system can also be used to safely clean the crushing cavity.

The sleeve assembly has been redesigned to improve the sealing performance, and the function and manufacturability are optimized by reducing the processing settings of the sleeve and the sealing ring. The Weir Minerals crushing team also redesigned the countershaft assembly, eliminating welding and machining, while improving ventilation and dust sealing.

Trio® TC84XR crusher is the same as the TP series cone crusher series. It can be equipped with ESCO® wear-resistant parts and is designed with high-quality ESCO® alloy. They can be customized according to your specific requirements. With more than 100 years of casting expertise, internal engineering and metallurgical technology, ESCO has transformed an otherwise sturdy machine into an unparalleled machine under the harshest conditions.
